The School of Agricultural Science was established in academic session 2015-16, Schedule II of the Career Point University Act, 2012 which is an integral part of the Career Point University.

  • School of Agricultural Sciences (SOAS), of CPU, Kota offers course programs with up-to-date curriculum designed and recommended by 5th Dean’s Committee of ICAR, New Delhi to suit the aspirations of agricultural industries as well as major research and development sectors.

  • SOAS also offers world class well-equipped laboratories, digital library, research farm, seasonal crop cafeteria, polyhouse, shed net house and well qualified and designated faculty members for one-to-one assistance for the students.

  • Special emphasis is given to students for hand-on-training experience by assigning live projects at agricultural research farms and experiential learning on different agricultural units.

Infrastructure

The School of Agricultural Sciences (SOAS) at Career Point University offers state-of-the-art infrastructure and well-equipped facilities to provide students with an exceptional learning experience. It features spacious, well-furnished classrooms, including smart classrooms with audio-visual teaching aids, and 12 specialized laboratories for practical and research activities in diverse agricultural disciplines such as Soil Science, Agronomy, Horticulture, and Biotechnology. The campus also boasts a seminar hall with modern audio-visual tools for academic interactions, an instructional farm, crop cafeteria, mushroom and azolla units, agricultural waste management unit, polyhouse, shed net house, and an agrometeorology observatory for hands-on training. These facilities, complemented by extensive fieldwork and field trips, ensure students gain practical knowledge and expertise in areas like plant protection, integrated pest management and sustainable farming systems.
