This objective will be achieved by setting up farms across on outskirts of major urban areas of India. These farms will produce high-quality harmful pesticide & residue-free fruits and vegetables using our IoT-enabled indigenous hydroponic farming technology. The produce will be grown and sold locally under the brand name of “EEKI FOODS” in the city, providing traceability as well as the “farm to fork” experience to the end customers. The farms will be completely autonomous and of varying size, ranging from a standard rooftop to 4 acres producing at least 7X-10X the yield on land. EEKI Foods aims to develop an agritech platform that is sustainable, and economical keeping in mind that the availability of arable land and freshwater is going to be scarce.

Requirements for both profiles –

1. Aptitude for carrying out novel medium-less environment hydroponic research for different kinds of fruit-bearing and leafy vegetables.

2. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, horticulture, plant science or related field.

3. More education and experience may be preferred.

4. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

5. Ability to work outside, stand, walk, kneel, and stoop for extended periods.

NOTE: For Candidates who are handy with equipment and show incredible talent in researching hydroponic systems will be provided with extra perks and incentives as deemed fit by the management.

Job Profile: Agronomist

1.
