Today, the Department of Agriculture at Career Point University organised a rally in Alaniya and Kevalnagar to raise awareness about Lampi disease in the cows. The program began with VC sir, cutting the green ribbon and giving the green flag to start the rally.
The HoD of the Agriculture department Deepak Nagar sir and all faculty members of the Agriculture Department were present in the rally. Slogans regarding the protection of Cows from Lampi disease were raised in the rally.
After this rally, a seminar was organised in the auditorium of the University in front of all the students of the Agriculture Department to which the Veterinary Officer, Mr. Amit Kumar Tripathi sir, and the Sarpanch of Alaniya were invited as Chief Guest. Amit Sir shared his views on the disease and cleared all doubts and misconceptions of the students regarding it. He advised everyone to drink the milk only after boiling it and he explained that this disease can’t affect humans as it is family-specific disease.
At last, all the teachers delivered a momento and a vote of thanks to the guests.
