The event was inaugurated by Dr. Majid Malik, Director of Bharat Mata College, Kishanganj, and the honorable Vice Chancellor of Career Point University, Dr. T.R. Sharma. It began with a magnificent display of rhythms, discipline, and order as the captains of the five houses i.e., Nilgiri, Shivalik, Karakoram, Vidhyanchal, and Aravali, marched past the chief guest Dr. Majid Malik. The ceremony then proceeded with lamp lighting by the dignitaries. VC sir Dr. T.R. Sharma addressed the students and stressed the need for sports and physical activity to lead a healthy life. Later the Chief Guest, in his address recalled with nostalgia, his own days as a sportsperson and how sports contributed to his life. The Inauguration commenced with a friendly cricket match between the guest of honor and  VC sir.
