On 19 October, 2022 Diwali celebration took place at Career Point University, Alaniya. Diwali is the most important event in the Hindu spiritual calendar. The festival is not just celebrated in our homes but also substantially by the college with joy and gaiety. Being part of the events calendar Deepavali was celebrated delightedly by all alike.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The festival of lights marks the triumph of good over evil and is widely believed to mark the return of Lord Ram to Ayodhya after vanquishing the demon, King Ravana. The celebration started with a warm welcome in keeping with the tradition of pooja. The students were enlightened with the significance of the 5-day festival highlighting the importance of each day presented with the help of enactment and oration. Students from all the departments participated to treat the audience to their wonderful performances.\u00a0 One could also witness the beautiful rangoli decking up with floral garlands and craft decorations. Everyone shared sweets with each other. And a few of the students lit fireworks. The day ended on a joyful and happy note.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
