Kota, August 23, 2025<\/b> \u2013 The <\/span>School of Agricultural Sciences (SOAS), Career Point University<\/b>, concluded its <\/span>week-long Parthenium Eradication Campaign<\/b> on Saturday, marking a significant step in community-driven environmental protection. The initiative, conducted from <\/span>18th to 23rd August<\/b>, was organized under the guidelines of the <\/span>Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR)<\/b> to address the threat posed by the invasive Parthenium weed.<\/span><\/p>

The program began with an awareness lecture by <\/span>Dr. Vineet Dheer, Assistant Professor, Department of Agronomy<\/b>, who explained the harmful impact of Parthenium on agriculture, soil health, biodiversity, and human well-being. His session set the tone for a week of impactful activities.<\/span><\/p>

Throughout the campaign, students and faculty volunteers worked tirelessly to clear Parthenium weeds from different areas of the <\/span>CPU campus<\/b>.
