From 24 to 26 August 2022 Induction program was conducted at Career Point University, Alaniya.
The purpose of this program was to familiarize new students with college culture. Since they all are new on campus. New hires need some hand-holding through the initial period to calm their nerves and to get them warmed up for the challenges that lie ahead.
They were apprised by Kamal Arora sir (academic coordinator)
for ERP manual which helps to manage all details about how to register for the upcoming semester.
In addition to those club activities and house, presentations were given which gave information about dance and dramatic club, Hindi Samiti, English debate & literature club, music club, media club, fine arts club, quizzing, Photography, sports, and ED cell of our university. A melodious singing performance (Teri mitti) was given. And then freshers were guided about dance and dramatic club through a presentation.
Divine Bollywood dance was performed, and the performer rocked the stage with her moves.
Then an emotional drama that was based on the life of students was presented. Freshers had a chance to show their creativity on the stage. A fun contest from ED cell was organized, named Brand Mania. In this three questions were asked from every participant-Favourite brand, Why is it your favorite brand, and if you were to give your favorite brand a tagline what would it be? The students were enthusiastic to participate in the contest. And in this certificates were given to all the participants.
Kavya Hindi club informed everyone about the importance of Hindi. They notified students about upcoming events such as Kavi samelan, vad vivad pratyogita, ashubhashan, and story writing. Students recited a poem about how time takes a toll on our journey in school.
New students recited epic poetries about childhood and memories. Then a Flip the bottle contest was held. Everyone keenly participated in it and won soft drinks, cheers of laughter filled the auditorium.
Freshers were then called up on the stage and they danced to their heart’s content.
The next day, the movie Rocketry: The Nambi Effect was projected. Further outdoor games such as Tug war and Musical chairs were conducted for our freshers to have a good time
