About Us
Objective of the club: The main objective of music club is to promote the music culture among the students and faculty alike, giving a stage to willing performers and a platform to beginners to cultivate their skills. The club is proud of portraying diverse forms of music including classical, semi-classical, ghazals, folk, fusion, light vocals, Indian pop and various instrumentals.
Why do students choose music clubs?
The Music Club is a place where students come to jam, learn and make music of different flavors. The club conducts a variety of activities throughout the year. The events like ‘Mehfil’ incorporates ghazals, qawwalis and Saaz, Sargam, & Raag, etc. incorporates melodious Indian classical songs which makes a seamless and unforgettable experience. It is good opportunity for the students to remove their stage fear.
We believe that music is not just a collection notes and bits, but has a deeper meaning which resonates with our hearts. It helps a lot to the students to overcome from the stress and hassles of their lives. We are a large group of people who play/sing or listen to good Indian music.
