Parent Connect Program 2026: Where Every Student’s Journey Becomes a Shared Dream

Career Point University, Kota, brought parents closer to the university experience and the opportunities available to their children.

At Career Point University, Kota, education is more than a degree. It is a journey shaped by learning, experiences, aspirations, and the people who support every step along the way. Every student carries a dream. Behind that dream are parents who believe in their child, teachers who guide the way, and an institution that creates opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed.

Recognizing the importance of this shared journey, Career Point University, Kota, organized the Parent Connect Program 2026 on October 23, 2026, bringing parents closer to the university experience and the opportunities available to their children.

The program was designed around a simple yet meaningful idea: when parents and the university understand each other better, they can work together more effectively to support students’ growth and future aspirations.

Beyond Classrooms: Discovering the Complete Student Journey

What does a student’s journey at a university really look like? It begins long before graduation and continues beyond the classroom.

Through a specially presented university video, parents experienced a glimpse of this journey, from Deeksharambh, the beginning of university life, to training, placement, and continued support. The presentation highlighted campus milestones such as:

🎉

Freshers’ Party

The start of campus life and new friendships.

🏅

Sports Week

Discipline, teamwork and healthy competition.

💡

Technovation

A platform to explore technical interests and abilities.

🎓

Farewell & Convocation

The milestones that mark the close of a chapter.

Each experience represents a different aspect of student life. Academic learning builds knowledge, sports encourage discipline and teamwork, cultural activities provide opportunities for expression, and technical events allow students to explore their interests and abilities.

The presentation helped parents understand that university life is not defined by examinations alone. It is also about discovering strengths, developing confidence, building relationships, and preparing for life beyond graduation.

During the program, the importance of a strong partnership between parents and the university was emphasized. Every student has individual strengths, interests, challenges, and ambitions. Supporting these differences requires understanding, communication, and consistent guidance.

The Parent Connect Program provided an opportunity for parents to become more familiar with the university environment and to engage in conversations about their children’s academic progress and future development.

The discussion highlighted the importance of connecting academic concepts with practical applications. Project-based learning, hands-on training, industry exposure, and skill development help students explore how their knowledge can be applied in real-world situations.

Career preparation was another important aspect of the presentation. Training activities such as mock interviews, aptitude development, communication skills, and soft-skills training contribute to helping students prepare for professional opportunities.

The broader goal is to encourage students to become adaptable learners who can continue developing their skills as technology and industry requirements evolve.

Understanding Today’s Students: A Conversation That Matters

One of the meaningful themes of the academic presentation was the changing environment in which today’s students are growing up.

Unlike previous generations, students now navigate a world influenced by smartphones, social media, digital communication, and a constant flow of information. These changes influence how they learn, communicate, make decisions, and experience challenges.

Understanding this generation requires more than comparisons with the past. It requires listening to students, recognizing their circumstances, and creating an environment where they feel comfortable sharing their concerns.

Parents were encouraged to maintain open communication with their children, listen patiently, promote balanced digital habits, and remain connected with university mentors and faculty members.

When students feel understood and supported, they have a stronger foundation from which to explore their potential and work towards their goals.

Students’ Experiences, Parents’ Perspectives

Education becomes more meaningful when students can share their experiences and parents can understand the environment in which their children are developing.

During the program, students shared their experiences of university life, including the guidance they receive from faculty members, their participation in campus activities, and the opportunities available for learning and career preparation.

The parent interaction session created space for parents to share their views, suggestions, and experiences. Many appreciated the opportunity to understand the university’s academic environment more closely and interact directly with faculty members.

Parents described the initiative as a unique and valuable way to connect with their children’s educational journey. The conversations also encouraged a better understanding of students’ progress, interests, and future aspirations.

These interactions reflected the importance of listening, collaboration, and shared responsibility in supporting students throughout their university experience.

Small Gestures, Meaningful Connections

Towards the conclusion of the program, the Deans and Heads of Departments presented saplings to parents as a gesture of appreciation.

The presentation of saplings offered a thoughtful symbol of growth and nurturing, values that also reflect the educational journey. Just as a plant needs care and attention to grow, students benefit from encouragement, guidance, and an environment that allows them to develop their abilities.

Parents subsequently visited their respective departments and interacted with faculty members about their children’s academic progress, interests, and future plans. Informal conversations over high tea provided further opportunities to strengthen these connections.

Together, We Shape the Future

The Parent Connect Program 2026 was an opportunity to look beyond academic milestones and recognize the relationships that support a student’s journey.

From the first day at university to the pursuit of professional opportunities, every stage brings new experiences, questions, and possibilities. Parents provide encouragement, educators offer guidance, and the university creates opportunities for students to learn and grow.

By bringing these perspectives together, Career Point University, Kota, reinforces the value of communication, collaboration, and holistic development.

Because a student’s future is not shaped by one person or one experience alone. It grows through shared efforts, meaningful guidance, and the confidence to pursue new possibilities.
