Introduction of Research Spark:
“Research Spark” is a research paper creation & presentation competition for students to foster various skills and abilities like Writing Skills, Academic Growth, Building Confidence, Resume Enhancement, Exposure to Real-World Issues, Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving, Personal Growth, Contributing to Knowledge, Interdisciplinary Learning, Problem Ownership.
Rules and Guidelines:
Welcome to the Research Paper Creation & Presentation Event! This event is designed to promote research, critical thinking, and effective communication skills. Please carefully review and follow the guidelines outlined below to ensure a successful and enriching experience for all students.
- Each paper may contain a maximum of 3 Authors with one faculty.
- Authors are required to register themselves as an individual or group paper under “Research Spark”.
- Paper abstract submission should be completed on/before 16th Oct, 2024 along with a Soft Copy and Hard Copy with author details with the Department Event Coordinator.
- Each participant or team can submit only one research paper for consideration.
- Abstract and research papers must be submitted electronically in the specified MS Word format, attached.
- Papers will be accepted below 20% Plagiarism.
- All submitted papers will undergo an expert review process conducted by a panel of experts at each department level.
- The review process will assess the quality, originality, and relevance of the research.
- Authors will receive feedback and suggestions for improvement from the reviewers.
- The final Evaluation of papers of all students will be done on the scheduled date only (the date given by the Department), No further extension will be allowed.
- Authors of accepted papers will be invited to present their research during the paper presentation.
- Presentations should be well-structured, clear, and engaging, with a duration of 7 mins time limit.
- Students are required to consult and discuss the paper with respective guides regularly before the presentation.
- Visual aids (e.g., slides) are encouraged but should not overwhelm the presentation.
- Presenters should be prepared to answer questions from the evaluation panel.
- Authors are required to submit the final paper after suggested changes by the penal will be incorporated by 16th Nov 2024.
- Authors are required to submit the research paper’s final printed manuscript (Hard Copy) including an attractive write-up on the Research paper problem identification, conceptual framework and proposed solution, as per the prescribed format.
- The final evaluation will be conducted at the department level on or before 22nd Nov 2024.
- Students need to show a PowerPoint Presentation and demonstration of a developed research paper.
- All papers (Selected at the department level) will be presented by the authors in the InnoVative Research Showcase” Paper Presentation.
- Authors of accepted papers will be invited to present their research during the paper presentation.
