Introduction of Research Spark:
“Research Spark” is a research paper creation & presentation competition for students to foster various skills and abilities like Writing Skills, Academic Growth, Building Confidence, Resume Enhancement, Exposure to Real-World Issues, Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving, Personal Growth, Contributing to Knowledge, Interdisciplinary Learning, Problem Ownership.
Rules and Guidelines:
Welcome to the Research Paper Creation & Presentation Event! This event is designed to promote research, critical thinking, and effective communication skills. Please carefully review and follow the guidelines outlined below to ensure a successful and enriching experience for all students.
- It is applicable for UG and PG Students only. No Ph.D. scholar will be allowed to participate in the paper presentation.
- Each Research Paper can have a maximum of 3 authors only.
- Authors are required to register themselves as an individual or group paper under the “Research Spark”.
- Paper abstract submission and registration should be completed on/before 26th Oct, 2024.
- Each participant or team can submit only one research paper for consideration.
- Abstract and research papers must be submitted electronically in the specified MS Word format, attached.
- Papers will be accepted below 20% Plagiarism only.
- All submitted papers will undergo an expert review process conducted by the panel of experts.
- The review process will assess the quality, originality, and relevance of the research.
- Authors will receive feedback and suggestions for improvement from the reviewers.
- The final evaluation or selection of papers of all authors will be done on the scheduled date only. No further extension will be allowed.
- Authors of the accepted papers will be invited to present their research work during the paper presentation.
- Presentations should be well-structured, clear, and engaging, with a duration of 7 minutes time limit.
- Authors are required to consult and discuss the paper with respective team members regularly before the presentation.
- Visual aids (e.g., slides) are encouraged but should not overwhelm the presentation.
- Presenters should be prepared to answer questions from the evaluation panel.
- Authors are required to submit the final paper after suggested changes by the penal will be incorporated by 20th Nov 2024.
- Authors are required to submit the research paper’s final printed manuscript including an attractive write-up on the Research paper problem identification, conceptual framework, and proposed solution, as per the prescribed format through the online submission only.
- The final evaluation will be done by the panel members of Research Spark by 25 November 2024.
- Authors need to prepare a PowerPoint Presentation for the demonstration of a developed research paper.
- All papers will be presented by the authors in the Research Spark” Paper Presentation event on dated 2nd-3rd December 2024 at Seminar Hall, CPU, Kota.
