IQAC Overview

Career Point University, Kota's Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is guided by the overarching vision of "Creating an Ecosystem for Academic and Research Excellence through Innovation, Incubation, and Entrepreneurship," in line with the university's Quality Policy. This initiative is in harmony with the transformative objectives outlined in India's National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which aims to reform the Indian Higher Education (IHE) system by promoting a multidisciplinary approach to both professional and non-professional education.
NEP-2020 emphasizes the need to revamp current curricula, teaching methods, assessment techniques, and evaluation processes. It aims to enhance the integrity and leadership of the academic community while establishing a solid research foundation that supports both academic and administrative independence.
In response to these objectives, Career Point University has established its Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in accordance with the directives of the University Grant Commission (UGC) and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The IQAC is dedicated to ensuring high-quality education by cultivating an environment conducive to innovative teaching, impactful research, and the holistic development of students and faculty alike.

- To promote the adoption of innovative teaching, learning, and assessment methodologies that align with the evolving educational landscape.
- To ensure transparency in institutional processes through e-governance and regular outcome monitoring, fostering trust and confidence among all stakeholders.
- To conduct capacity-building programs for faculty and students, fostering skill development, knowledge enhancement, and improved academic performance.

Strategies
- Ensuring timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic, administrative and financial units;
- Adoption of relevant and quality academic and research programmes;
- Ensuring equitable access to and affordability of academic programmes for various sections of the society;
- Optimization and integration of modern methods of teaching and learning;
- Ensuring credible assessment and evaluation processes;
- Ensuring the proper allocation, adequacy and maintenance of support structure and services; and
- Sharing of research findings and networking with other institutions in India and abroad
Functions
- Development and application of quality benchmarks;
- Setting parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution;
- Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty development to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process;
- Collection and analysis of feedback from all the stakeholders on quality related institutional processes;
- Dissemination of information on various quality parameters to all the stakeholders;
- Organization of intra- and inter-institutional workshops and seminars on quality- related themes and promotion of quality circles;
- Documentation of various programmes/activities leading to quality improvement;
- Acting as a nodal agency of the institution for coordinating quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of the best practices;
- Development and maintenance of institutional database through MIS for the purpose of maintaining and enhancing institutional quality;
- Periodical conduct of Academic and Administrative Audits along with their follow-up activities; and
- Preparation and submission of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per the guidelines and parameters of NAAC.
