The Department of Physiotherapy, Career Point University, organized an educational visit to Jaipur Foot Care, a unit of Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (BMVSS), one of the oldest and most reputed organizations in the field, founded by Dr. Mehta.

During the visit, students gained firsthand knowledge about the manufacturing and application of orthotics and prosthetics, as well as the digital gait evaluation process. This exposure allowed them to understand the technological advancements involved in mobility restoration and rehabilitation.

A major highlight of the visit was the opportunity to explore North India’s first Artificial Intelligence-based Robotic Neurorehabilitation Unit, which introduced students to the integration of AI in neurorehabilitation—an emerging and impactful area in modern physiotherapy.

In addition, students also visited a facility specializing in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), where they learned about its therapeutic applications in wound healing, post-stroke recovery, and various chronic conditions.
