"PM Sir Ki Pathshala": Clarity, Purpose, and the Long Game

Addressing the students, Chancellor Mr. Pramod Maheshwari spoke about the importance of having clarity about what one wants to achieve in life. He explained that success can mean different things to different people - for some, it may be financial achievement, while for others, it may be happiness, personal growth, or achieving a meaningful goal.

Sharing experiences from his own life, including his journey as a young teacher, Mr. Maheshwari encouraged students to look at success as a continuous journey. He pointed out that securing a good rank in an examination should not be considered the final destination, but rather the first step towards a larger journey of growth and achievement.

He also spoke about the changing role of education in today's world. With information now easily available, simply possessing information is no longer enough. He explained that the role of a university is not just to provide information, but to help students transform information into knowledge, knowledge into skills, and skills into the ability to perform effectively in real-life situations.
