Mandliya (Mandana), 16th September 2025: In a significant step toward promoting legal literacy in rural areas, the School of Legal Studies and Governance, through its Legal Aid Clinic at Career Point University, organized a Legal Aid & Awareness Camp at Senior Secondary School, Mandliya (Mandana), in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Kota.
Themed “Legal Awareness Camp on Cyber Fraud and Remedies,” the program attracted enthusiastic participation from local residents, students of the School of Legal Studies, and DLSA officials.
A major highlight of the event was a Nukkad Natak performed by CPU students, creatively depicting common scenarios of cyber fraud and showcasing practical remedies to protect against such crimes. This interactive approach made the subject easy to understand and relatable for the rural audience.
The camp also addressed consumer rights, mediation, and access to free legal aid, giving villagers an opportunity to receive on-the-spot legal counseling and assistance in filing basic legal complaints and applications, ensuring direct access to justice.
