Cyber Security Awareness Workshop at CPU Reaches School Students

6th August 2025, As part of its community outreach efforts, students from the School of Computer Application and Technology, Career Point University, conducted a Cyber Security Awareness Workshop at Girls Senior Secondary School, Rangbadi, Kota.

The workshop was attended by over 100 students from Classes 9 to 12, aiming to raise awareness about online threats and responsible digital behavior. The session was led by Manpreet and Riddhima (BCA III Semester) and included interactive discussions and hands-on guidance to help students identify and protect themselves from cyber risks such as phishing, password breaches, and cyberbullying.

Adding to the engagement, a fun and informative Cyber Quiz was conducted by Sukhpreet and Albin (BCA III Semester), encouraging student participation and reinforcing the importance of safe online practices in a relatable and energetic format.

This initiative is part of Career Point University’s broader mission to foster digital literacy and create cyber-safe environments, especially for school students as they navigate an increasingly connected world.
