One of the major highlights of Thomso ’25 was the participation of Career Point University’s students in the Footloose dance competition, where Ayaan, a talented performer, made it to the Top 10 finalists in the Mustakfee category. Their commitment and enthusiasm shone through as they delivered captivating performances.
Equally impressive was the Team Kalbeliya, which participated in the Nritya (Folk and Classical Group Dance) event. The team comprising Rushil Tandon, Bhavi Sharma, Anuradha Gujar, Mahak Sharma, and Suhani Gautam captivated the audience with their energetic and graceful presentation that celebrated India’s vibrant cultural heritage.
Multiple Talents on Display
Thomso’25 wasn’t just about dance and music; it was a platform for diverse artistic and creative expressions. The Abhivyakti team, featuring Chirag Vijay, Vedansh Sharma, Prince Gautam, Utkarsh Singh Rathod, Sahil Vasyani, Arman Buksh, Namita Nagar, and Akshay Nainwani, made it to the first round of the competition, displaying commendable teamwork and stage presence.
In the 24 Frames event, Deepali Aditya impressed with her creativity, while Pujita, Bhavi Sharma, and Rhythm Vaishnav showcased their vocal excellence in Western Solo (Allegro). Meanwhile, Kezia S. Ninan left a lasting impression with her soulful performance in Sargam (Antara).
Creative Flair in the Tod Bag Competition
The Tod Bag competition saw active participation from Yash Panch, Bhavik Singh Hada, Mahi Kalwar, Manansh Gehija, Vaidika Sharma, and Samridhi. Their enthusiasm and teamwork stood out as they presented a creative and well-executed performance that reflected their innovative spirit.
Literature and Dance: A Blend of Art and Expression
In the Two to Tango Dance Duet event, Shivam Mishra and Kanika Dadhich delivered a beautifully synchronized and dynamic performance that captured the audience’s attention.
Adding to CPU’s diverse representation, Rushil Tandon’s team, including Namita Nagar, Shivam Mishra, Akshay Nainwani, Arman Buksh, and Bhavi Sharm, reached the final round of the Literature – Pictionary competition, showcasing their creativity and quick thinking.
