Career Point University celebrated World Environment Day on June 5, 2024, focusing on “Land Restoration, Stopping Desertification, and Building Drought Resilience.” The event featured an expert lecture by Dr. Rohit Kumar from the School of Arts and Humanities. Dr. Kumar discussed the causes and impacts of land degradation and desertification and emphasized sustainable practices for restoration and resilience.
Following the lecture, CPU faculty and staff participated in a plantation drive, demonstrating their commitment to environmental sustainability. The event highlighted CPU’s dedication to promoting ecological balance and creating a greener campus.
