The School of Legal Studies, Career Point University, Kota organized an educational visit to the District and Sessions Court, Kota, offering law students a meaningful and practical learning experience.

The visit began with an engaging session by Additional District Judge, Ms. Geeta Choudhary, who addressed the students on key legal frameworks and initiatives, including:

  • DLSA (District Legal Services Authority): Ensuring access to legal aid for those in need at the district level.
  • NLSA (National Legal Services Authority): Providing nationwide legal support and promoting legal awareness.
  • Victim Compensation Scheme: Assisting victims of crime through fair compensation mechanisms.

After the session, students were divided into four groups of ten, each guided by practicing advocates to observe live court proceedings. This hands-on exposure allowed students to witness real-time legal processes, deepening their understanding of courtroom procedures and the justice delivery system.

Such visits are a vital part of legal education at Career Point University, aiming to bridge the gap between theory and practice while fostering a strong foundation in legal awareness and advocacy.
