RAWE Orientation Week concludes successfully at Career Point University, Kota — equipping students with modern farming technologies, agripreneurship skills, and AI-enabled agricultural knowledge.
The School of Agricultural Sciences, Career Point University, Kota, successfully concluded a seven-day Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE) Orientation Week from July 15 to 21, 2026. Organized under Component-I of the ICAR RAWE Programme, the week-long initiative aimed to prepare students for rural engagement, agricultural extension, modern farming, agripreneurship, and effective dissemination of government welfare schemes among farming communities.

The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Gunnjeet Kaur, Associate Dean, School of Agricultural Sciences, who addressed students with a powerful reminder that the RAWE programme is not merely an academic requirement but an effective platform for bringing positive change in the lives of farmers. She encouraged students to visit rural communities and educate farmers about scientific farming practices, modern agricultural technologies, agricultural extension services, and welfare schemes of the Central and State Governments.
Throughout the week, all Assistant Professors of the School of Agricultural Sciences delivered subject-specific lectures and conducted comprehensive revision sessions on core concepts from previous semesters, along with practical and technical guidance for the upcoming field assignments.
