CPU Celebrates World Physiotherapy Day 2026:
Move Better. Recover Stronger. Live Healthier.

A two-day celebration - combining community outreach, expert talks, clinical learning, creative activities and student recognition - around the theme of physiotherapy in cardiovascular disease and stroke.

Career Point University, Kota, celebrated World Physiotherapy Day 2026 across two days - 6 and 8 September - through a vibrant blend of educational, clinical, creative, cultural and community-based activities. The celebrations highlighted the expanding role of physiotherapy in modern healthcare, with special emphasis on the prevention, management and rehabilitation of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.

📅 Day 1 - 6 September 2026 | Community Outreach & Campus Celebration

The first day of celebrations brought together university leadership, faculty, students, healthcare professionals and community members. Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Mayank Saxena addressed the gathering, highlighting the changing role of physiotherapy and its growing contribution to preventive, rehabilitative and community healthcare. Prof. (Dr.) Pushpendra Yaduvanshi, Head of the Department of Physiotherapy, also attended and guided the celebrations throughout.

Community Outreach

Physiotherapy Awareness Camp - Gramin Police Line, Borkheda

In Collaboration with Gulati Physiotherapy | Inaugurated by Rural SP Shri Sujit Shankar

Students and faculty of the Department of Physiotherapy conducted patient assessment, physiotherapy consultation, guidance, and awareness for police personnel and community members from the surrounding area. Dr. Vineet Naveen Gulati and the physiotherapy team contributed clinical expertise and guided the camp on physical health, appropriate physical activity, and the role of physiotherapy in prevention and rehabilitation. This practical exposure enabled students to apply their academic and clinical knowledge in a real-world community setting.

The second day was organised around the theme "The Role of Physiotherapy and Physical Activity in the Prevention, Management and Rehabilitation of Cardiovascular Disease and Stroke." The event was graced by distinguished guests Dr. Rachit Saxena and Mr. Deepak Kulshetra, whose clinical and professional insights enriched the celebration.
