In collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS), Career Point University (CPU) recently organized a Kisan Gosthi in ALANIYA Village on April 10, 2024. The event, spearheaded by the School of Agricultural Sciences (SOAS), aimed to educate farmers about the benefits of organic farming.
Dr. Vinay Kumar, Associate Professor at SOAS, emphasized the importance of organic farming for promoting overall well-being. Dr. Rohitash Nagar highlighted the economic opportunities in the organic market, while Dr. Lav underscored the pivotal role of farmers in driving sustainable agriculture.
Dr. P.C. Choudhary discussed modern agricultural technologies, and Dr. Maina Kimari outlined government schemes available to farmers. Sarpanch and other farmers were honored for their commitment to sustainable practices.
