The School of Legal Studies and Governance at Career Point University, Kota, took a vital step towards spreading awareness on the pressing issue of child labour by organizing a Legal Awareness Camp in Kewal Nagar, Alaniya. The camp aimed to educate the community about the harmful impact of child labor on children’s rights and their future.

Dean Dr. Pramod Kumar Sharma led the event, emphasizing the importance of protecting children and the need for collective action to eliminate child labor. The students actively participated in a ‘door-to-door’ awareness activity, engaging with residents and shopkeepers to explain child labor laws, the penalties for violations, and the broader social consequences of exploiting children.

The efforts were further supported by Assistant Professors Dr. Mithilesh Malviya, Avtaar Choubey, and Vineeta Pandey, along with the local Sarpanch, who commended the students’ dedication. The camp not only educated the community but also empowered the students to take an active role in addressing societal issues.

Together, let’s continue to work towards building a child-labor-free society!
