PRAXIS '26 at Career Point University

Career Point University's School of Commerce and Management brought BBA and MBA students together for a two-day residential management immersion - from live industry visits and keynote addresses to business plan simulations and a financial strategy finale.

PRAXIS '26, organized by the School of Commerce and Management, Career Point University, Kota, was a compact, high-energy two-day residential immersion held on 28–29 July 2026. Designed around one goal - an authentic, memorable learning experience - the programme brought 34 BBA and MBA students together in 8 mixed teams for real industry exposure, business plan development, leadership exercises, and back-to-back simulations.

Grand Inaugural & "Learning by Doing" Address

Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Mayank Saxena inaugurated PRAXIS '26, setting the tone for two days of experiential learning. The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Hari Mohan Sharma, General Manager, DIC, Kota, who underscored the significance of learning by doing and connecting classroom concepts to real business challenges.

All 8 teams spread across Kota, each visiting a separate assigned industry - covering Healthcare, FMCG, Hospitality, Automobile Distribution, Component Manufacturing, and Capital Market & Commodities. Accompanied by Faculty Mentors, students observed live operations, identified real business issues, and interacted directly with business leaders.

The Creator's Talk - "How to Make Your Customer the Hero"

Mr. Pramod Maheshwari, Chancellor, Career Point University, delivered an engaging talk on making the customer the hero of every business. With real-world examples and cases, he discussed key management frameworks and how they are applied in actual business situations - sparking rich discussion among students.

Blueprints to Boardrooms - StartUp Launch Pad Simulation

Teams converted their field visit observations into a full business plan using the StartUp Launch Pad - a spreadsheet-based business plan simulation. Students were briefed in detail and tasked with completing the business plan overnight, ready to present the next morning.

Movie Case Study - "Made in India: A Titan Story"

A specially developed four-act video case study on the Titan story. The session explored how to build conviction in a business idea, understand problems, develop solutions, and pitch to a board and investors - a fitting intellectual close to Day 1.

Day 2 opened with a guided yoga session - a mindful reset reminding students that good leadership begins with a clear head and a calm mind, before the boardrooms and simulations took over.

The Boardroom Drama - Business Plan Presentations

All 8 teams presented their business plans developed overnight through the StartUp Launch Pad simulation. Plans were evaluated by expert judges - a real-time, high-stakes experience that brought out the best in every team's strategy, creativity, and communication skills.

Leadership Evolution - "Who Is Your CEO?"

A leadership expert talk delivered online by Dr. Gaurav Sethia, followed by a hands-on leadership activity - "Who is Your CEO?" - where teams had to collectively decide who would lead their company. A genuine test of how young professionals understand leadership, trust, and team accountability.

FinSimX - Financial Strategy Simulation Finale

The day's biggest challenge - a live financial planning simulation on spreadsheets designed to test whether teams' boardroom strategies could hold up under real financial pressure. Every investment decision and trade-off had a simulated consequence, evaluated by a Chartered Accountant.

Grand Closing, Prize Distribution & Certificate Ceremony

PRAXIS '26 concluded with prize distribution to winning teams of the StartUp Launch Pad, Leadership Activity, and FinSimX Simulation. Mr. Jitendra Singh, Founder of Clickzy, addressed students on vital aspects for a startup journey. Vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr. Akshay Joshi.

More Than a Programme - A Business Experience
