Overview

What is the M.Pharma Programme?

The Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharma) is an elite postgraduate degree meant for B.Pharma graduates who want to move beyond general manufacturing and enter the highly lucrative fields of Drug Discovery, Clinical Trials, and specialized R&D.The program is deeply research-oriented. Students spend their first year mastering advanced theoretical concepts and modern analytical instruments (like HPLC, GC, Mass Spectrometry). The entire second year is dedicated to independent scientific research, resulting in a master's thesis, patent filing, or a published paper in recognized scientific journals.

Graduates are heavily recruited by R&D departments of top MNCs (Sun Pharma, Cipla, Pfizer) as Research Scientists, Formulation R&D Managers, Clinical Data Managers, and Pharmacovigilance Experts. It is also the requisite qualification for taking up teaching positions in Pharmacy colleges or pursuing a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences globally.

Structure

An advanced PCI-structured curriculum for R&D excellence

The M.Pharma curriculum shifts the focus from learning existing drugs to discovering, formulating, and testing new ones.
The final year is exclusively dedicated to a Master's Dissertation (Research Project) conducted in our advanced labs or in collaboration with a pharma MNC.

  • 1. Merit scholarship is linked with admission date (irrespective of date of result declaration of previous class)
  • 2. Student can avail only one type of merit scholarship scholarship (whichever is higher).
  • 3. Merit Schiolarship Continuation eligibility: Above merit scholarship is only for 1st Year. For continuation of the same in subsequent year, student has to maintain CGPA >= 6.5
  • 4. EAB Scholarship is given in addion to the merit scholarship.
  • 5. To avail scholarship, student must deposit applicable semester fee before the cut-off date for scholarship. If student fail to do so, his/her eligibiity for availing scholarship will be cancelled.
  • 6. Also, to avail merit scholarship, student has to submit supporting documents in original along with 1 set of photocopies.
