Agriculture students. This week-long program is conducted in alignment with the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR)’s Fifth Deans Committee recommendations, ensuring students receive practical, field-based learning that is deeply relevant to India’s evolving agricultural ecosystem.

The Orientation Week introduces students to the core components of the READY (Rural Entrepreneurship Awareness Development Yojana) initiative, which includes:
- RAWE (Rural Agricultural Work Experience) – Practical exposure to village-based agricultural practices and rural life.
- Village Attachment – Immersive engagement with rural communities to understand the socio-economic and environmental aspects of farming.
- Agro-Industrial Attachment – Industrial training in agri-based companies to bridge academic learning with real-world business practices.
- Credit System Briefing – Students were guided on how these modules contribute to academic credit and final evaluation.
These programs equip students with the practical skills, social sensitivity, and entrepreneurial insights required in modern agriculture.
