The School of Agricultural Sciences at Career Point University, Kota, successfully conducted a one-week orientation program under the Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE), which concluded on 26th July 2025.
This initiative was designed to prepare final-year B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture students for their upcoming field training, equipping them with practical knowledge, guidelines, and readiness for rural engagement.
During the orientation, students were briefed about the objectives, methodology, and expectations of the RAWE program, which is an integral part of their curriculum under the ICAR-mandated experiential learning framework. They also submitted their READY manuals and undertaking forms, marking their preparedness to begin the next phase of their academic journey.
Reporting for 13-Week Training at KVKs and Institutes
On 4th August 2025, students reported in groups to their respective centers for the 13-week training program. They were placed at renowned institutions for agricultural fieldwork and farmer interaction, including:
- KVK Borkheda (AU Kota)
- KVK Anta (AU Kota)
- KVK Bundi (AU Kota)
- PNB Farmer Training Institute, Jhalarapatan
- Vidya Bhawan KVK, Udaipur
This training will provide them with first-hand exposure to rural farming practices, agricultural extension methods, and farmer–scientist interactions.
